Could anyone please help me?
Ive got a linksys wireless router and would like to connect to the wug.

Ive read the getting started page and they say that i have to download Freifunk but they dont tell me how to connect with it.

Hope to hear from you guys!

Jeandre,

Linksys doen net 2.4ghz - so as jy aan 'n site wil connect wat in 5.8ghz broadcast (rooi op die KML) sal jy Mikrotik moet kry - wat 5.8 doen.

Dis beter om jou linksyste flash met DD-WRT - daars baie baie guides op die net oor hoe om dit te doen - google net.

So ek flash die linksys en gebruik dan nt winbox om te connect?

Nee, winbox is vir Mikrotik

I have the same issue. What settings do I have to use in the web interface. At the moment winbox does not even see the MAC address??

No not at all, the connection to the WUG is done by an independant router... You just wont be able to game with the UBUNTU Smile

Winbox is a MIKROTIK app. It searches for pc's or RouterBOARDS running RouterOS and will not detect anything else. Use web interface by typing your Router's IP into web-browser
