Hi all
I think it would be great if the wiki has a informational page listing everyones general sort of link strength, and where they are connected to.
I would like to start a new wiki page called 'Link Strength Guidelines', with some info on what antenna is best for what situation. It is then important for as many people as possible to fill in their link experience.
Please reply to this post with your site name, and where you are linking to, and what the signal strength is. Also write what wlan card you are using and what antenna. For example:
Manhattan - (GC) Grand Central: (10.5 km) (Strength: -75) (R52Nm, 27 dBi Grid)
Once I have some data I will make the page. People can then update it themselves... Thanks! |
