I am in the throws of setting up a tower in Lorraine area (as this are seems to have the highest concentration of people intrested). Looking at putting up an omni on Theescomb hill. If anyone knows of someone staying on the hill that will be happy to have an antenna on their roof, please let me know.

Hi Gromit,
I am in Cotswold area (Cape Road side near bible house)
Are there any towers servicing this area and if so how many blokes are currently involved in pewug?
I wouldn't mind aerials to add to my current antenna/dish farm if there is a need for it at my site.
Pewug web link seems dead, are you only trying to start up a network now or is there already an established wan.
Cheers Clanser

Hi Guys

We need to get together and combine efforts here. It's seems like there's people interested, but nothing really comes from it. Let's get together and plan something. I have access to a site on Theesecombe Hill.

Cheers

Ok, as mentioned on other forums, I have all that is needed to assemble a tower on Threescomb hill.

Runx999 you mentioned that you have a contact of someone on the hill. Please PM me so we can get together and finalize this.

Hi Chaps.
Is the pewug at all operational at the moment?
i did a search on google earth for my co ordinates and downloaded the kml file and found a 'tower' just around the corner from me .
Took a drive around there and it looks like the feedhorn arm has rusted off the satellite dish used for the pewug( I assume it is used for this,it is a 2.4 GHz feedhorn) and no one was home to ask.
I am quite keen to get connected.
regards Dave001

For those who don't know the first tower has been up for a week now and I am still the only person who has connected (apart from the person hosting the tower...).

Wake up guys! Scan for PEWUG-LMH in the Lovermore hill direction!
