|

What is the possibility's of having a sync to a specific server Online.
For instance, lets say I want to sync a Saix BF2 server to my local WUG server. I will have a downstream of 150MB/H and upstream will vary depending on the ammount of users but not more than lets say 10MB.
The upside of doing this is that everyone will link to the WUG server and not the SAIX server. Lets say 10 users links through the internet to BF2 server. All 10 users will use 150MB/H BW. What if they just used the upstream BW and now the downstream because the get it from a server on the WUG?
Is it possible and is it legal in terms of internet on the WUG since it is not allowed. |

From my understanding what your trying to do is Proxy the users on the wug to the same game "session" that your having on the SAIX server.
That would work great, but it all needs to happen on the same server, so if the people on the wug connected to you. Each connection would then be proxied via you, and so would create independant connections regardless.
Unless you could run a seperate server and if SAIX would let you have access to sync into their server.
Again, my understanding

Hi,
I don't see a problem with that, as you will not be providing internet over the wug for the users, they would be linked to your server, and your server would be syncing to saix.
I asume that you would be doing this at your own cost aswell
If so, then sure go ahead.
Thanks for the server then |

Yeah, please do that! It would be awesome....
But do you have a decent connection to SIAX to hold all the uses that will be connecting to your server?
I am trying to host a BF2 server, but there is no ranking and no stats, so it wont be very cool |

Yep on my own cost and its a 10Mbps connection to SAIX. So I think it should be sufficient. Think it would be good if it is possible. I will play around with it as we can use it for future gaming servers.
Unfortunately this is what I am implementing on a new WUG which will not be connected to PTA soom. |
