HI i was wondering if planned to implement a highsite what is the better way to go RB or PRB
I would think that the PRB is alot better since there is more HD space CPU speed and Memory so it will be capable to do the prepossess a lot faster than the RB boards
Thanx

It all depends on your requirement, if you use an RPC (router PC) you have the possibility of adding many radio card, the router board are probabaly limited to a max of 6 to 8 (at a push). RB's are also CPU limited, you have much faster CPUs available as an RPC.
RPC has its problems however. cooling, power supply, mounting, need to purchase a licence too. |
